Can I ask a ? from a professional Medical Coder?

I'm thinking about medical coding as a career and am trying to find out where to start. I can get a part-time job in medical records at a local hospital and there's a class called medical terminology at a local 2 year college in my town. Should I take this course and will it get me on my way? Also need information on a reliable online course for medical coding. Thanks for any info-

you can take a course at like a trade school and that should get you on your way. med.term. is a class that you have to take in order to become a coder. look into trade schools they should be able to help you.
